I find the tiny little level meters between plugins to be a pretty useful feature in finding out where my sound design may be having issues. Even on my 27" monitors at my home studio, I find the size of them is sometimes too small to see if the meter is clipping or not, because it appears to show clipping with one pixel's height.
I would like to be able to interrogate these these meters a little deeper to see more detail on the output levels they're representing. Here are two ideas on how this could be implemented:
* When a user mouses over one of these meters show a popup that tells displays the peaks, RMS values,
* When a user clicks the meter, expand the area in the device rack to show a miniature version of meters shown in the session view.
Who knows, could even be both.

+1
They should just make them extend from top to bottom and cover more of that wasted real-estate.
