Sample Editing with Envelopes inside Sampler/Simpler

Hey Guys.
I really wish for the same-similar editing possibilities inside the Sampler/Simpler sample window as in a normal Audio clip.
Many times i find out things like "oh, this flam is not quantised enough" or other times "man i wish i could apply a volume envelope to sculpt the sample"
i then have to bounce the sample to an Audio track and treat it and re-import it into Sampler/Simpler.
Unless there is an easier way to do that that i am missing i would really love this functionality
