Lift live lite channel restrictions from 8 channels to unlimited?

I would like to see Live lite channel restrictions at least doubled if not lifted all together. I understand it's the lite version but restricting this feature cripples your baseline product in a way that makes it look bad. Any other suggestions ?

For instance Cubase LE allows the user to have 32 channels... I could post other comparisons but I have no intentions of using other software at this point.

IMO if you can't manage to record something decent within the confines of 8 tracks, you may as well give up. :-)

Some of the best music ever recorded was done on 8 or less tracks. The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Motown, Elvis...
