Flatten MIDI.

Post by Sleeper0013 » Fri Sep 27, 2019 2:02 am

Flatten the Midi instrument and Automation in that instrument, but not all of the other effects in the channel. This can help lower CPU usage while Still allowing for mixing elements to stay in the channel. I notice that project where i brought over audio from another project but put EQ and compression behave better than the same tracks with the raw midi. I'm also finding my self wishing i didn't have to bounce between flatten and raw during the mastering phase. I like the flatten, But i want the option to leave the rest of the chain.

How about you put the track into a folder, move all (or selected) FXs to the folder track and just flatten the MIDI track?
