Disable all devices

Post by nikuser » Tue Dec 17, 2019 2:21 pm

Everybody knows that when you select all devices and press 'Device activator' button, only selected device is deactivated. Why can't I deactivate all devices at the same time without grouping them? Grouping tracks to deactivate them is a workaround and it's not supposed to be like that.
Also, you can't fold selected tracks at the same time. You need to fold each device manually.
I don't see any reason why this feature can't be implemented. So, please, Ableton, fix this.

Strongly support this.

An de/activation button should appear next to Track Activator, or using Alt command when clicking on Track Activator should disable all devices. The advantage of this method is to save CPU when a track is not used.

To anyone reading this, this appears to have been implemented. Testing on L11 and it works, so nice one Ableton!
