Re: ARA 2 support
Yes please! I also work with reaper and ARA2 is really helpful with Melodyne.
Re: ARA 2 support
I'm waiting for this feature since YEARS.
Switching to Studio One all the time is not really an alternative, Drag'n'Drop to Studio One works only sometimes (Windows).
Implementing ARA2 would be a nice first step into Vocalproduction, which seems to be none of your business in general at the moment.
Seriously, 2 germany companys. Get it together!

So.......according to the Wikipedia page about ARA 2, there are only four plugins which use it - so unless you happen to use one of those, there's (IMO) little point in Live supporting it. It's niche. Very niche.
Looking back to my previous post in this thread, at that time (last year) there were three plugins. Now there's four. Not really catching on, is it?

I wouldn't call Melodyne niche...102455 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 05, 2020 6:02 pmSo.......according to the Wikipedia page about ARA 2, there are only four plugins which use it - so unless you happen to use one of those, there's (IMO) little point in Live supporting it. It's niche. Very niche.

Re: Ableton live support for ARA 2
Many of us have been requesting this support for about a decade. I agree that this is mission-critical for many of us, and somewhat puzzling that Ableton is not more proactive to work with Celemony (Melodyne) and others to ensure compatibility (Celemony has been saying that the solution lies entirely in Ableton's hands) as it works with nearly every other major DAW available.
Each time Live is updated, I go through the release notes looking for some mention of supporting Melodyne, and, while I'm sure that, for some, the ability to, for example, add emojis to their tracks was a useful and welcome feature, I can't help but wonder how these longstanding support requests are ignored version after version update after update.
