Multi-clip Editing Note Colour

Post by [art] » Sat Apr 11, 2020 7:53 am

Just a small request

It makes more sense to me if all clip notes being displayed in the Multi-Clip edit Detail View are all coloured, not with the inactive clips being displayed in gray.

This would make it easier to make sense of what's going on. You can still use the loop regions to select which clip you want to edit, and it would still show the name also, but visually to me it would be more clear if they were all their own colour all the time.

A jumble of grey notes doesn't visually help, and neither even if i mouse over the loop region, because as soon as i leave it to edit the coloured clips are gone, leaving me to continually check what is what.

This would fall apart if the different tracks used the same color.

Doesn’t change what I said. But they could use muted versions of each color.
