Peak dB level meter for Arrangement - Please!!!

Post by Snedmusic » Thu Sep 03, 2020 12:59 am

Just gonna leave another one of these here, as it's been asked for for since at least Live 6! :)

An equivalent of the Session View dB Peak Level Meter needs to be visible in the Arrangement View. It could be nested/collapsible within the master track, next to the existing visible volume level.

Short of this, the only way to achieve a constant/accurate/monitored peak dB readout is to constantly press Tab back and forward between the views... Which is surely to all involved, slightly ridiculous?

This is a bit of a hole in the basic functionality of mixing/mastering within Ableton Live...

Is this really such an issue since you can now view both Arrangement and Session view at the same time? :?:
