Drum rack: extract chains to individual tracks

Post by nebben » Sat Jun 19, 2021 3:42 pm

I really like drum racks, but pretty much avoid using them because when I prepare a track for mixing there is no option to just click and extract all the tracks to individual tracks. Let's say I have 15 chains:
How it looks now: I have to right click each of these 15 chains individually, choose extract chains, and then rename each of these because they are all exported to another drum racks.
How I would like it to be: right click the drum rack and extract chains to individual chains, so that I see a kick track, a clap track, a hihat track etc. below the rack

You can use the session mode mixer to see and mix the various Drum Rack pads individually. Just hit the arrow to expand. Maybe not your preferred method, but just wanted to make sure you knew about this.
