External Instrument's "Audio From" source should be affected by the parent track's monitor setting

Note that the external instrument device is a handy way to eliminate the need for both midi and audio tracks when configuring external hardware (to control, say, a TD-3 with Push for instance). However, the audio from the source selected by this device's "Audio From" setting is not affected by the "Monitor" setting on the parent MIDI track. It appears the device only ends up being silenced vicariously by means of the midi messages not being passed along to the device chain when monitoring is set to off (or auto w/ the track disarmed). However, should the device emit audio via other means (say its internal sequencer), it is fully audible unless the track is muted or the volume at 0.

Given the purpose of External instrument (the elimination of the additional audio track), I can't imagine this behavior to be desirable for any but the most fringe use cases and think this should be changed, if possible, to simply have the "external instrument" plugin honor the parent MIDI track's monitor setting vs. depend on the interruption of midi to silence the device.
