Give the follow button a drop down to select channels

Post by kull » Tue Sep 20, 2022 6:18 pm

I love the tempo follow feature - I use it to follow multiple sources, so it would be nice to be able to access the followed channel w/o bringing up preferences. Seems logical to me to let the channel selection be a dropdown similar to what is present w/ metronome and quantization.

Thanks for considering it!

Good one. Put it on centercode.

And make it available for the API / MIDI Mapping as well!

I'd opt for a blanket "make everything available for the API/MIDI/keystroke mapping."

Hello from the future...just seeing this - Could you elaborate a little? I'm not familiar w/ centercode (apart from having just opened their website to get the gist of what it is), but do have some experience in automated testing. Is this something the Ableton team uses that would make things more likely to be adopted?
