Keyboard Shortcut for Edit->Freeze track
this might be possible via the keyboard preference pane but I'm guessing that it would have problems with the fact that it changes from freeze to unfreeze...it really should have a shortcut anyway. I suggest command+F if not used for a find command.

+1 for freeze track keyboard shortcut.

I would definately love that feature too.

I am using Better Touch Tool (this is a very convenient app for osx and costs a few euro's (choosable from 4-50€))
I can make all the shortcuts I want:
- On the left: Add app (live 9) with the + symbol in the select app screen
- Select in the black horizontal bar: keyboard
- Add New shortcut or Key sequence
- Define your shortcut (in my case command, shift, F)
- Then under action choose: controlling other applications.
- Choose: Trigger menubar menu-item
- Read the following menu if you want to understand it
- Put in the empty field: Edit;Freeze Track
done

Free, with built-in OS X Short cuts taking a minute to set up in System preferences:
Only Windows users need dedicated apps for adding short cuts to menus, really.
And of course Ableton should allow us to set our own short cuts.
Make some music!

While it certainly is nice of OSX to provide this functionality, it's always better if the bindings can be established from within the application itself.Stromkraft wrote: ↑Mon Dec 26, 2016 10:56 pmOnly Windows users need dedicated apps for adding short cuts to menus, really.
