AU plugins dont work when Live is a rewire slave of ProTools

Post by prztz » Sun Feb 12, 2006 12:13 am

As I posted on another topic I´m mixing my Live tracks on Pro Tools to use my HD hardware and TDM plugins.

But with that, I can´t use any AU plugins anymore.

Is there anyway that this works on future versions?

that makes sense when you have Logic as a master because it uses the AU plug-ins.

But ProTools doesn´t use any AU...

Anybody can explain this to me?

Tks.

The master gets to be the host......
Simple as that.

yeah it's that way with every rewire program
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

No it's not. Bidule can host VST/AUS while running as a rewire slave. I think if you register Bidule you can even use Bidule as a VST in live that is also a Rewire master.
