Live "Rumors" / The Future of Live

Post by manparrish » Mon Jun 30, 2003 3:18 am

I've heard "rumors" that Live will be incorporated ( sold to ? ) Steinberg, for future release or as a "built in" feature of...Cubase. Any info supporting that ?

Thanx,

What would a huge conglomerate like Pinnacle Systems want with Ableton......?

Very unlikely indeed.......

Well Sounforge was just sold for 18,000,000 to Sony. Robert, if you were offered 18,000,000 for Ableton Live I would wager you would sell instantly............well thats a lot of ice cream

The way I see it is that many companies are going to want in on the current ´Lets Buy A Music Application´ and be like Apple, Pinnacle, Avid etc. My advice is that if anyone comes sniffing around SELL because those oppurtunities wont, and dont come around that often.
