Operator should have been an integral part of Live (it is already anyway) as Simpler and Impulse are imho.
Making it a 'pay extra to unlock' feature was (again imho) a bad, irreversable business decision that, for example, now makes it harder to create a user shared project base of presets and Live clips.
Its an expensive synth that you can't use anywhere else. I think Ableton should have charged a little less for it, and done that via an increase on the overall price of the Live upgrade. That way it would just have been a new Live instrument, and kept Live a single package.
Just my 2c

Yes - I agree for the most part. Although, I am sure some people might complain that they have no need for it and feel it is a waste to pay extra for something they would never use.Martyn wrote:Operator should have been an integral part of Live (it is already anyway) as Simpler and Impulse are imho.
