Ok, lemme try to explain this.
Rather than assigning keys to SPECIFIC clips, why not be able to map a row of keys to only the selected SCENE. That way, the ASDF row (for example) could trigger a new set of clips just by selecting a different scene. This would be fantastic.
There is a feature somewhat like this - the function keys f1-f8 serve to mute/unmute the audio track. But those aren't quantizable - they're just audio, not clip triggers.
What do y'all think?
