this is one thing that CONSTANTLY pisses me off. It is one of the things that makes live feel like a toy.

Even WITH workarounds, this should be there because this is basic and needs to be simple, accessible and quick.

of course pressing solo almost never does solo . another not to hard to understand and well needed upgrade

Ableton developers continue to neglect professional mixing features. It's unbelievable how the most feature rich DAW is missing such crucial features in the mixing department. It's why many still consider Live a toy because otherwise the program destroys everything else.
