"UNWARPED" Recording

Don't know if this has been mentioned before but straight, linear recording would be nice :D

I wanna jam along with the software and modify the recordings in real-time afterwards, so sometimes switching this off would be helpful and necessary.

I agree, we should be able to turn off the warping from track to track (as well as being able to tweak it completely).
Please Ableton!
I would love to buy this product, but not supporting Rex2 files, and not being able to turn off the warping track to track kind of dims the product...

Yes! PLEASE Ableton...I have to dump my music mixes over to Cubase and the like to add vocals and other elements that I don't want time-stretched/beat-mapped. It is *key* that you allow users to turn this off, ideally on a track-by-track basis. How about a little toggle/button that lets you turn it on/off? I could do entire master remixes with vocals and the like using Live rather than having to go to other apps. Begging!
