Please can the ability to be able to 'Ctrl-Click' (or similar) a solo button so that it remains soloed when other solo buttons are clicked. When you do this is other software like Cubase the solo button reads 'D' not 'S' so you know is defeated.

This is essential for Grouping, other Routing, Rewire and many other situations I can't think of now.

*PLEASE* make a simple update to fix this.

Thanks - but thats not even close. You still have to solo more than once if you've got anything grouped in even the basic sense.

This feature is standard on any mixing console or DAW worth using.

Developers are SLACKING missing features like this.

By now we all know that Ableton is the real deal, but if you ever hear a big time engineer refer to Ableton as a toy, this is your answer. The Ableton engineers have pretty much neglected innovation and simple but essential features for mixing and it's a shame because it's what's holding Live back from being Supreme.

Is it so complicated to implement a "solo safe "feature in a daw ? I mean.. Most of the daw have it as a basic function..
