If you want MPE support then please make your voice heard!
That link was erroneous!

This is the actual link to SUG-0982: support 'expressive' controllers, using voice per (midi) channel / MPE.

For now I'm holding off buying Live, waiting for MPE support.

Why are you guys lamenting MPE in a thread about Polyphonic Aftertouch?

While you are pointing our minor semantic mistakes you could also campaign to change the topic of this thread to "Support for Aftertouch" since aftertouch is poly in nature and the mono variant is called channel pressure :P

It's not minor! It's about barking up the wrong tree. Make your own MPE threads please. That polyphonic aftertouch wasn't implemented day 1 of adding MIDI to Live a decade or so ago was, and unfortunately still is, a disgrace.

Better for All of us if we campaign for support. On both these protocols together!!!!!
Very hyped about 10 but very upset about either of these not being implemented :(((
Maybe some hope for a future 10.... update

May I suggest you create that thread then? Maybe even a poll in it? While these two protocols could share some tech under the hood I'm not sure the GUI should display the data in a similar way. These are different technologies by different creators.

At the moment I lack experience of MPE, but I'm all for its inclusion.
