Random Skin

Post by spkey » Tue Jul 24, 2007 2:36 pm

I know this isn't so important but it would be nice to let ableton chose its own skin every time you opened it. This could be a 'random skin' selection under skins.

it would add another element of randomness. You 're like "What's it gonna be like today?" before you actually open it.

Personaly i wouldn't like this, i went through the skins last night and hated all of them but the default 1,
i can't really explain why? but for me it would kinda be like working in
someone elses studio, and i need to feel comfortable wehen i'm being
creative

I kind of like this idea. Bhajis Loops does this, it's kinda nice. Definitely not a priority, but I think it's an interesting idea.

Making cheesy music with my pink sugar fairy skin is totally different than making it with the tobacco skin :P
Please vote! Live 10's "multi" clip editing should allow selection+editing of multiple clips in one action:

honestly what they should add is the ability to edit skin colour within the program itself. The editor thats floating around on the net is cumbersome...a streamlined version would be wicked though.

this just sounds horrible to me,

90% of the skins are unusable

I'd just have a 90% chance of getting irritated
