The step/grid could be much better.
I would like to have a view with x number of 16/32/48/64 steps in a grid that could be toggled on/off with midicontroller. Hate using the mouse for this.
Understand its not easy to find a solution that works for all controllers, but... hey... you are the smart guys. If anyone can do it... you can!

No no, that is not what I mean. Let me try to clarify.
A MIDI device (like the arpegiator) but a step sequencer. That can trig note on/off, pitch, gate time, anything. With variable resolution 8/16/32/64 steps and variable length.
And, this is important, the steps can be toggled on/of with hardware midi controller. Such as Kentons Killamix mini.
