Alternative "dragging multiple clips into project" behaviour

Post by a1studmuffin » Thu Dec 13, 2007 10:51 pm

I've noticed if I drag say 10-20 audio clips into the session view at once, that it will put them all in the same track as different clips. It would be great if I could hold a modifier key (like SHIFT, ALT, CTRL etc) and the drag operation would change from putting them all into one track, to putting each one in it's own track (ie. from a vertical stack of clips it would turn into a horizontal stack of clips).

As far as I know there's no way to do this yet in Live, and it would be very useful for situations where you've got say 20-30 track stems and you wanted to drag them all into a new project for a mixdown or some other operation.
