this means Open Sound Control. it's a protocol designed to standartize communication between audio softwares. you can check the wikipedia page at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenSound_Control

BUMP x1000. I'm a Lemur user and OSC would be a boon!

+1.

I know that JazzMutant would jump at the opportunity and support every last bit of interfacing provided with Live OSC - that would quickly make Lemur+Live by far the slickest combo on earth...

alas, some of us have been talking to Ableton about this since Live 5... They aren't much for road-mapping.

by the way, if I syncronize Ableton Live by Re-Wire with other DAW that supports OSC, that means OSC will work on Ableton Live too, correct? So question is: what other DAW supports OSC and Re-Wire?

hi,

give a try to pure data, max/msp, processing or supercollider, they all support osc (with the right libraries for some).
