nudge midi notes by ticks

Will it be possible to nudge events by ticks in version 4.

I like to have certain events fall late or earlyin addition to what ever swing/groove is already being used.

99% of my tracks beats have had manual elements moved around by a couple of midi ticks here and there. Id like to be able to continue to do this when i switch midi over to ableton.

how about using insert/backspace to nudge? that combined with cursor control of the position is so powerful and quick. I use it constantly in oldschool trackers and pianoroll would benifit greatly

try it in my flash mockup for another program :)

er yeah, this is a critical feature for getting the beat right with a sampler.

because of variances in the attack of different sounds, triggering all notes on the same beat at the exact same moment makes everything sound like doo-doo.

an alternate approach would be to have a independently defined anchor point (different from sample/loop start) that is tied to the beat, but adjustable in the sample (a la logic regions). obviously this is trickier in a sampler because it requires read-ahead.
