Save Metronome State & Keep Record Enabled

Post by jbone1313 » Fri Feb 15, 2008 1:21 pm

Hi:

Here are a couple feature requests that to my knowledge, aren't possible the latest version of Live 7, but which would really help my work flow. I would also imagine that they'd be relatively easy to implement:

1. It would be nice to be able to save the metronome state in a live set. I'm a drummer who plays to a click, and every time I open one of my live sets, I have to re-enable the metronome. Sometimes I forget, and I have to do some mid-song acrobatics to get it enabled whilst keeping the beat.
2. It would be nice to keep the record button enabled or latched--or have the option to do so. Currently, when you're recording in arrangement view, and you stop recording, the record button becomes disabled. Its really annoying to have to re-enable it every time you start recording again.

:)

Yes, metronome state should be saved with the set for the previously stated reason.

Also the tabs at the right border (inputs, track delays, x-fades...) should be saved with set.
