Record Midi Controllers - clip - sequence

Post by Jean-Francois Charles » Tue Sep 22, 2009 3:08 am

Hi there,
I really feel like a Live newbie asking that, but here we go:
-is it possible to record a midi controller in a clip? (for instance, a program change, but without having any note)
-same question with midi controls automation in the sequencer. With Max for Live, we can do for instance automate a midi control like that:

[live.numbox] (automated/stored)
|
[ctlout] (with appropriate arguments) (or [midiformat] -> [midiout], etc)

Thanks for any pointer,
J-F

Hi Jean François,

I have the same question, alas until now still unanswered.
I only discovered bendout works "the way it's supposed to" but that MID won't light up the "incoming midi info" indicator.

good luck and please inform me if you find something out!
