where does print print?

from what i understand, "print" should display messages in the max window.
but since there's no max window when using with Live, where do the messages appear?
and what shall i use to monitor messages in a Max device?

It print to the Max window when you open your patch and switch over to the Max editor. If i remember correctly it is command-m on the mac and i think control-m on the pc. It's used for debugging. You use UI objects to display things.
