i can't find how to get the min and max tempo as defined in the arrangement.
is there a path for it?
min/max tempo
Re: min/max tempo
where are you headed with this
to my understanding, the min and max only have effect on the visible range of the envelope
i.e. they don't constrain the tempo, just define what is visible on the screen in that envelope lane
?

Re: min/max tempo
min/max tempo is useful when you midi-map the tempo: it constraints the values that you can reach.
my idea is that i'd like to make a clip that will automate tempo changes, so i need to retrieve the min and max tempo, so that 100% modulation will be max tempo, and 0% will be min tempo.
but i guess i'll just create num boxes to set that.

Re: min/max tempo
yes, but the min/max of a midi map to tempo are set in the midi mapping pane. it does not have to do with the settings in the arrangement view. those are only for display. it _does constrain what you can do with a mouse or pen in that envelopepeeddrroo wrote:min/max tempo is useful when you midi-map the tempo: it constraints the values that you can reach.
