after installation of beta 9, and authorizing (have fun
)the program shows no instruments (no max for live)
I sent a screenshot and bug dump (which beta 9 saved as a beta 8 dump) to m4l beta email.
this system had been running 7.16 (and other earlier 7.n).
I installed launchpad live 8 from the cd. I upgraded to 8.09 full version)
I removed a max 5 installation which I was testing with live.
I then loaded max4live beta and 8.1b8, which has the same problem with authorization as the latest 8.1b9.
