everything is cool now.

I was, indeed, using the b9 install. But, reinstalling M4L did, indeed, fix the problem: I am now able to see all of the pluggos and other devices.
Latptop:
MacBook Pro 2.33, RME Fireface 400, iPad running TouchOSC, VG-99 processor, SoftStep foot pedal (2)

These are indeed great devices. A suggestion, though.
Perhaps you could edit the comments for the objects within the devices so the Live info view could explain how they worked.

The new audio/midi devices are great!

For learning how to work with the API it would be fantastic to have similar simple hands on examples for the "live.xxx" objects too.

Hi Parametex,

Have you checked out the four Lessons that cover the API? These aren't nearly as basic as the Building Blocks devices, but they should help you with some API concepts.
