Post by db120 » Mon Jan 25, 2010 10:03 pm

Curious, has anyone started any M4L stuff related to Maschine, are there even things that could be be achieved between the two? thanks

I think it has some kind of bi-drectional midi implementation. It's one of the things that is on my list to check out as I use Maschine.

cool, having a glance at your gear list it looks like you could build a 3d box of buttons controlled by max

I just bought Maschine and am liking the control over Ableton. One thing I think its missing is a bounding box around the active clips like the APC40. Is this possible with Max for Live?

I'm definitely interested in this. The major limitation with using Maschine as a controller for Live with the existing template supplied by NI is that it cannot launch anything over 16 scenes, or use the rotary encoders for anything beyond the first eight tracks of a project. I'm a M4L owner but am most definitely a beginner. If anyone has any thoughts on this that could help I would be very interested!
