Bunch of ways. Look at the zl object help file and subpatchers. So much fun!

Only one "?
Or do you wish to turn something like "0 1 2 3" into 0 1 2 3?
In the second case, use [fromsymbol].

I swear zl is the most useful object in the whole of max. I've spent ages before building abstractions to deal with lists only to find that zl has yet another mode that does exactly the same thing only better.

Sure, two "`s as you described. Thanks

Sorry man. Pressed for time. If a zl object can't do it, a sprintf should be able to take care of that. Know them both well. The force is strong with them.

Regexp is so cool. I have a crush on this object. After all this time I forgot about it, I am glad that it is taking me back into its life.
