If a m4l patch starts and stops making sound when I press abletons play/stop button but it doesn't do anything within the session/arrangement view then how can I render it as an audio?

Create another audio track and set its input to the output of the track that your M4L device is on. Arm the second track to record and either hit the record button on a clip slot in clip view to resample in clip view or arm the global record button and just start playback to resample into the arrange view.
