M4L purchase does not mean MAX5 is authorized?

Post by zeepster » Thu Jun 10, 2010 5:29 pm

I did a search but i'm still unsure. I purchased max4life, installed, authorized etc. works fine.
After that i tried to run Max5 solo (wanted to check for updates) and found it isn't authorized. The software states that it is in demo mode for 30 days. It seems that a max4life purchase doesn't authorize Max software, is that correct?

Also, more important, will max4life keep functioning normally after the 30 day period?

The MFL license has nothing to do with the MaxMSP license. Your Max demo will expire, MFL will work fine, and yes, you do not get an auth for full MaxMSP with MFL.

Thanks for clearing that up. Max4Life seems like a great program!
