Is this device possible--round robin arpeggiator ?

I would like a device that works as follows:
You play "C". The next time you play "C" it triggers "E", the next time you play "C" it triggers "G" and the next time back to "C"

So sort of an arpeggiator which triggers a round robin (cycle) of defined notes.

Is this possible? And how would I go about approaching this?
