presets that store the contents of a coll or matrixctrl?

can you make ableton presets that contain coll or matrixctrl data?

how about having their contents load on set load or save on set save?

has anyone made a live.grid to matrixctrl converter so that I can use that controls preset-ability? I don't won't to rewrite the majority of my app to deal with these instead (i'm writing monome apps and working with matrixxtrls is super straight forward as result).

any advice or code showing approaches to this issue would be very much appreciated.

edit: am I missing something - is it posisble to send the live.grid a message that toggles a particular step?

hi

have a look at the "pattr" object

just connect its middle outlet to the "matrixctrl" inlet and in the pattr object inspector switch "Parameter mode enable" on

from then on the contents of the matrixctrl will be saved with the Live set

-- coll actually is not directly supported by pattr - so this is a different story - can you state in which context you want to use it (which data you want to save with the Live set) - there might be an easier workaround
