Having Problems Using Xformer with 7/4 time sig

Post by gtodd876 » Sun Jul 03, 2011 3:32 pm

It seems like Xformer assumes your always dealing with 4/4 time.

I set my time sig in Live to 7/4, set tempo to 180

Load audio clip

Load Xformer

hit play, then within 4 beats of my audio clip Xformer is back to step 1

this doesn't matter if I change the number of steps to any multiple of 7.

Is there any easy way to edit Xformer so that the steps within the Xformer plug span the entire length of the loop (my 7 beat audio clip)? It stays in time but the steps repeat every 4 beats of my audio loop but there are 7 beats and I want my steps to restart with the audio clip.

I did so a search but I didn't see any earlier posts with Xformer dealing with odd time sigs so maybe I'm overlooking something right in front of my eyes.
Any advice is greatly appreciated,

To further clarify better.

I want beat 1 of each measure to line up with step 1 of Xformer. It does not do that with my 7/4 time sig.
