Is anybody aware of a device where you can offset a midi note by a number of notes, for example, you could pipe in incoming midi and delay it all by 3 16th notes, or 2 1/4 notes, or whatever division you wanted? I am familiar with the covert operators midi delay but I cannot seem to figure out how to use this to accomplish what I am trying to do. Please let me know if anyone is familiar with any devices that might be applicable.

Thanks!

I've built a device like this but its for audio samples. You could build a device that receives the MIDI data from Live, offsets it by the desired amount using [delay] then re-triggers and outputs the same MIDI data at the other side.

Re-reading it I guess thats not that helpful! :?

Specifically, once the device receives the MIDI data it would generate a bang, which you'd then put through the [delay]. You could store the incoming MIDI and re-trigger/output it using the delayed bang.

A tad more helpful perhaps!...
