One or different octaves - different instruments

Post by suchar » Sun Jan 19, 2014 10:36 pm

Hello!
I'm new Ableton and Max for Live user trying to find a program (or two programs) which will work in two ways:
1.
One octave - few midi instruments
How could it work?
One octave gives signal to few instruments:
You press C1 note on and you get:
-C2 on midi track 1
-C4 on midi track 2
-C0 on midi track 3 etc.

2.
Different octaves - different instruments
Here you have another idea:
You press C1 on M4l and you get C1 on midi track 1
but then you push the C3 note and have C2 note on midi track 2...

That would help me a lot and I think I might have seen something in this type, so could anyone show me where I can find this instrument? :)

my advice would be to look into racks and midi effects (pitch) instead of max for live.
