VIZZable 2: video suite for Live 9

Post by zealtv » Sun Apr 28, 2013 4:11 am

Hey folks,
I've just released the new version VIZZable, my suite of video plugins for max4live.
It's been completely rewritten to take advantage of gen in max 6.
Would love some feedback or any ideas for new features!

Details and download is here: http://zealousy.com/2013/04/vizzable-2/

You're a God amongst men! Can't believe you upload this for free. Going to record something tomorrow. I'll make a donation soon if you have a spot on your website to do so.

Aargh this might push me over the edge to purchase the upgrade to M4L + L9!

To use video in my Live set, I'm running Serato Video on the same machine. Unfortunately it doesn't sync as easily as I'd like and requires the audio interface.

How heavy is video on CPU with Vizzable/M4L? Also, how's the stability? (I'm too lazy to install the demo right now :p)

VIZZable 2 is pretty light on cpu, all the video processing is on the GPU so if you've got a decent video card you'll get good performance.

Requirements lists
"Ableton Live 9 (32 bit only),"

any plans making it work with 64bit Live9 also?

The current bottleneck for 64-bit Vizzable support isn't Mr. Zeal's problem or fault. At the moment, Jitter support itself is still in progress for the 64-bit version of Max [owing to the fact that 64-bit support for Jitter video playback and other QuickTime features weren't included in the initial release of 64-bit Max (see the FAQ).
