Transpose multiple MIDI clips at once - M4L device

Post by Because789 » Sat Aug 03, 2013 4:11 pm

A request by miekwave here in the forum reminded me that I missed the feature to transpose multiple MIDI clips destructively at once in the past. So I thought a little m4l device for this task would be handy. And here it is:

Transpose MMC 1.0

Usage:
- Load the device to the MIDI track with the clips you want to transpose.
- Adjust how many semitones you want to transpose the clips.
- Click Transpose, done.

Note:
- It only works for clips in session view, clips in arrangement view are not affected.
- The device transposes ALL the clips in the track it is on, it doesn't depend on the selection.
- Even tough I couldn't find any issues I'd recommend you duplicate the track with the clips you want to transpose. Use with care!

Cheers Bagatell :)

Here's a follow up of the device: Scene Transposer 1.0

Features:
- Transpose clips in the SELECTED scene.
- You can choose if you want to transpose only midi clips (M), only audio clips (A) or both (M/A).
- MIDI clips are transposed destructively, the notes in the clips themself are moved to the new pitch.
- Audio clips go through a check if Warp is on or not. If not it will just transpose the clip. If it's on you can reset the Warp mode by selecting a mode and checking the Reset Warp box before you click Transpose.
