Organizing Max4live devices

Post by Electromorphic » Sun Oct 13, 2013 8:01 pm

Hi there, Long time live user, just got ableton 9. I'm having trouble figuring out how to organize my max4live devices in the browser. Every audio device I add goes into Max4live Audio effects root directory and now I have like 60 devices in there. It's hard to find what I am looking for. I would like to put folders under the Max Audio Effect root directory so that I can organize things a bit and put my modulators in one folder, and my effects (like all the pluggo devices) into another. Can this be done?

Welcome to the new shitty browser !

LOL! Well okay then. So it is as big of a pain in the ass as it appears. Thanks for the response.

You can drag your devices anywhere you want in the "User Library" in the browser. You can even right-click "New Folder" to make subfolders and things under "Max Audio Effect" under User LIbrary and put them however you want them?
