M4L device that enables midi mapping to a nested rack?
Is there someway to map downwards in the rack structure?
I want to map the volume of sends in a drum rack to a macro inside the drum rack. Like this:

Hi Interceptor,
As far as I know it is not possible to do in Live.
You can do this with my M4L MultiMap Observer device (requires signup at the top).

Just put the device inside the chain. In the "observe parameter" section press map and then click on your flanger parameter. Then map the relevant send parameter using the "parameter" section on the right of the multimap device. You can control up to 8 parameters from one parameter.
Hope it helps.

Exactly what I needed. Freakin awesome man.
You just made my day
Just hope it doesn't tax my computer too much when I start adding 50+ of these inside a drum rack.
Thanks again!

Cool, glad you like it
If you have any feedback on how it could be improved, id be really grateful to hear it.
I dont think you should have any problems with 50+ of these going at the same time. To save on CPU, (if youre only using it to move 1 parameter per chain), you could possibly delete the other 7 parameter map buttons. Also, you could remove the "input" dial, but if you do you'll also need to change the "127." in the scale object to "1."
Cheers

Re: M4L device that enables midi mapping to a nested rack?
I wish it would not record any automation data, because when mapped Live will record both the automation for the mapped parameter (like flanger) and the "input" parameter of Multimap observer.
Re: M4L device that enables midi mapping to a nested rack?
Thanks Interceptor. Good point. Ive updated the device and removed the dial.

Hopefully that should fix the automation problem.
