How do you mean "Can't get"? Why?
He probably mean same as i do. He is having bugs, crashes he send email - crashes are confirmed but never fixed.
I wasn't inquiring about the crashes. I wondered why
clearise found he couldn't get support, i e getting satisfactory responses from Ableton support.
Crashes are confirmed? Fixed? If Ableton support (AS) can indeed replicate the crash then the likelihood for Ableton development to fix the issue should be high. I don't see why they'd sit on a fixable problem they are able to replicate.
I'd rather assume here the causes are not found as the issue can't be replicated on their end and therefore can't be fixed. I know intimately about this as I have a few minor long going bugs that seemingly only affects me that AS so far have found hard to replicate. I wouldn't call failure to replicate "not getting support" even if I'm dissatisfied with the situation.
Another dimension is the fact that bugs in
Max itself is not something Ableton necessarily can fix themselves. Likely Cycling74 need to do that, even if Ableton obviously should own up to issues on their platform.
