FTM is free but do I need it?

I read some of the docs on FTM but still not sure if this is something that will benefit my max4live and max patches. it would seem that the old creators of max simply added new datatypes that allow for anything you could possibly want. hybrid arrays containing different datatypes. that is cool but WHAT CAN I DO WITH IT?

Essentialy you can do everthing you want with the Standard max/Map/jitter objects and with FTM its the Same as with most other 3rd party libs. They just make a lot of tasks much easier and faster. I would recommend to just install it, take a deeper Look at it and then, i promise you, it won't take long and the First Situation where you find a use for it is there :) except you are a complete beginner then it might be better to just learn to work with the Standard objects
