Does oscillot come with an ARP module or do we have to use a midi effect in a rack?

We just released v 1.1.1!
Please note: OSCiLLOT requires Max version 7.0.6 (or higher) from now on.

NEW MODULES:

• SEQUENCER: ML-185 Stage Controlled Sequencer
• OSCILLATOR: PM Tube: Physical Modelling module/generator with the models “Flute” and “Brass” (based on the PerColate library from CNMAT, with kind permission).
To get started with the new physical modelling module, try the ‘Physical Model Flute’ preset in ‘Synth Lead’.
• EFFECTS: GRAINMUNGE – input granulization
• MODULATOR: VCA-ADSR – An ADSR with built-in VCA, each segment can be controlled via CV.

FIXES:

• Swarm Mod fix by RL
• FIXED: WaveX preset inc/dec buttons would not work as expected.
• FIXED: Deselecting a module in the Oscillot editor and then pressing the ‘Delete’ / ‘Backspace’ key could still delete the previously selected module or even disable the patch’s audio output.
• FIXED: The editor’s zoom setting was not correctly restored after reloading a preset or a Live set.

FEATURES & IMPROVEMENTS:

• Mix3 now with lin/log mixing mode
• Mix8 now with lin/log mixing mode
• WaveX has a sharper and computationally cheaper waveform display.

The 1.1.1 video looked great. Looking forward to giving the new modules a whirl sometime Sunday. :D

Oscillot Lite (on Win10 with Max 7) just blue-screened :!: my system. Haven't experienced that since Windows 7..

Was testing one of the sequencer patches, but it crashed when I tried to bring up the Task Manager to check CPU usage (which was low)

edit: Max 7.0.5. Have updated it to 7.0.6 now.

Do let us know if 7.0.6 helps. I had a few win cases where the 'info' view causes a bluescreen for some weird reason...

I think I may have hovered over that Info button when I tried tabbing between OSCiLLOT and the Task Manager

Thanks to Christian's good support, it seems the issues are resolved. M4L is still the most frustrating piece of software I own, but the fact we straightened out everything with Oscillot I can now start to enjoy this purchase.

Can you post what the problem/solution was for the benefit of others who may have a similar problem?

Or was the answer too embarrassing (i.e. user error)?

There was nothing generic so it's not necessary to publicize the details...

However, on some machines a restart of Live seems to be required after the OSCiLLOT installation.
(easily noticeable when you can't make connections...)

I still have constant crashes everytime I run a project containing Oscillot 1.1.1 on Windows 10 and Live 9.5 1b6. max 7.1
Live just closes itself before I can do anything..

@Slyte: do you have a support ticket # for this one?
I've just read about an issue with Win10, floating windows, M4L which could be the issue here.

Best,
Christian

I don't have a support ticket, but I sent you the crashlog report a few days ago.
You mean I should come back to an older version of M4L ?
