possible to move arrangement playhead (when stopped)?

Post by alexsg » Fri Oct 16, 2015 9:01 am

im interested in developing a little max patch that i could control using touch osc or similar on my phone that would allow me to quickly scroll through the arrangement without mousing over.

does anyone know if it is or isn't possible to access this through the ableton api?

it seems to me having the transport scrollable through, plus perhaps zoom (though i imagine that's not possible) and basic transport controls would be useful to have on something like a phone without having to use my touchpad or adjust the focus on ableton to do so.

thanks!

you absolute champ.

thank you so much and thanks for being so rapid :)

i've not had any practical use for M4L for a good few years now and I'm looking forward to hopefully making something I'll actually find useful and helpful for my productivity :)
