Time and Timbre - Push Display Latency

Post by adam_mc » Sun Nov 29, 2015 11:26 am

Hi,
I've just bought Time and Timbre and can see its potential straight away.

I have spent a few hours exploring it and getting the hang of programming it through Push (Mark 1) and have noticed that the display in push often lags behind and then catches up again when the sequencer is being displayed in Push. This happens predominantly when I use the sequencer with non TnT sound modules i.e Big Kick by Plugin Boutique.

Is this a known issue?

I am using the latest version of TnT and also running live 9.5 on Mac El Capitan.

Cheers,

Actually, I'm getting even more weird behaviour.

* The actual display on the screen periodically stops moving with the tempo and only moves when I move the mouse anywhere on the screen.

* The Push display goes completely blank and then some of the buttons light up and then go off again. The full TnT Push display is not displayed.

* Also, the running cursor indicating where the beat is in relationship to Live's tempo is at least half a step behind, no where near in sync with the actual beat that is playing.

So disappointed at the moment.

hi adam, this does not sound right, we will look into that asap,(will install El Capitan this week and try to reproduce, as this behaviour is not apparent in os 10.8 - 10.10),
if i understand right, it only happens when you use "big kick"?

if you encounter more details, could you please send them to support (a...t) skinnerbox (dottttt) de

sorry for the inconvenience :)

best
