VIDEO PROJECTION - BEATSEEKER

Post by gordenmack » Thu May 19, 2016 10:08 pm

Just need to know, if video projection will stay in time with the varying tempo when using Beatseeker? I would like to project video in suync with my live drummer while using beatseekr to follow our drummer's tempo, will the video speed up and slow down with the drummer or does the video just run at one fixed speed once it starts Please tell me that the video will follow the tempo changes, please . . .

if the video is warped, yes. I used to do this with Michael Jackson as demo for kids. Video is similar in media to audio, having warp markers and the like. So you may want to create a "sound track" for the video that is "click click click" etc. That gives the autowarper an easy job. or maybe there is music on the video as an example. Then launching scenes in time with the drummer ought to be relatively simple.

For different songs, maybe use scene changes?
